OUR TIMELINE

• 1980: Romildo and Nilson Contelli started their first peanut plantations in the region of Tupã/SP.
• 1989: Introduction of new Runner peanut varieties in Brazil.
• 1993: The Contelli brothers founded Beatrice Comércio, Importação e Exportação de Amendoim Ltda.
• 2005: Branch 1 was opened - a unit for drying and storage of peanuts with a total area of 23,000m² and over 8,000m² of built-up area.
• 2015: A new unit (Branch 2) was acquired for the processing and blanching of peanuts, with 3,500m² of built-up area and a total area of 32,000m².
• 2018: Grupo Beatrice becomes Brazils largest peanut exporter.
• 2020: Expansion of planting areas to the state of Mato Grosso.
• 2022: Innovation in the processing and production line with state-of-the-art technology for grain selection.

COMING SOON: Implementation of a line of snacks, such as fried peanuts, roasted peanuts and peanut butter, aimed at Private Label projects.

Before becoming a good industrialist, you have to be a good farmer.

Grupo Beatrice is a key reference in peanut farming, being the only one with its own plantations and the largest cultivated area in Brazil. This reference also extends to the implementation of new technologies, field research and development, in addition to cooperation and partnership with renowned companies for the development of new machinery and agrochemicals.

We have the highest field technology and the largest and most complete agricultural machinery park in Brazil. Grupo Beatrice is the only group that has its own planting and harvesting equipment, which guarantees greater traceability.

In addition to our farms in the state of São Paulo, in the region of Tupã, we are increasingly expanding our cultivation areas, and are now present in the state of Mato Grosso.

Grupo Beatrice has a complete infrastructure in its industrial units, which operates in line with state-of-the-art technology for processing and selection, drying and storage.

With a total area of 67,000m² and 16,500m² of built-up area, Grupo Beatrice currently processes 22 tons/hour of in-shell peanuts and 15 tons/hour of blanched peanuts.

And all of this is to offer the best to the most demanding markets and customers in the world.

The most complete laboratory and the most important national and international certifications

Grupo Beatrice has pioneered the control of aflatoxins by HPLC in Brazil and is the only company with its own equipment. It has a Chroma Laboratory for aflatoxin analysis by HPLC, a Seed Analysis Laboratory, a Physical-Chemical Laboratory and a Microbiological Laboratory. With these modern resources, quality is rigorously evaluated at all stages of the process, involving sampling, procedures, sample preparation and analytical quality control.
